I was disappointed

The guide and porter played their roles very well. On the other hand, I was very disappointed not to benefit from private transport. It seems to me that the extra payment is exaggerated. The trek itself gave me complete satisfaction: magnificent landscapes, great encounters.

We are delighted to see that you liked the hiking routes and the services of our guide and the porter. Regarding transport and the supplement, however, we would like to provide some clarification regarding the points you raise.
Firstly, you have not completed the route where it should have been completed, so the end of the trek takes place at Birethati Nayapul!
You did not want to do your entire trek, and with your agreement, the trek is finished at Tatopani, i.e., 180km round trip from Pokhara. The distance between Nayapul and Pokhara is only 40km. unfortunately, we could not pick up a private vehicle from Pokhara to Tatopani to Pokhara as it did not match our pricing.
It is also important to note that, due to a health problem with one of your friends, you found yourself alone. As your ticket is changeable, we offered to join the next group, which was leaving 6 days later, but you wanted to leave with the announced supplement. If our proposal does not suit you, you can refuse it. We do not impose anything on our customers.
Finally, and contrary to what you may think, our prices remain quite reasonable. We hope that, despite these few disappointments, you keep good memories of your discovery of Nepal.

It’s our last day in Nepal, and we are excited about our trip and our trek.
Already, we were very lucky with the weather, which allowed us to walk in the sun.
We enjoyed being able to walk in two different regions, and we do not regret our choice of Mesokanto. It was an experience that allowed us to be apart from the tourists, and camping was a great discovery at this altitude.
We thank Ramesh, who believed in us and therefore allowed us to cross the pass thanks to his confidence. Throughout the trek, he was very attentive to our safety and well-being. He was very patient when I was taking photos. Ramesh is a very pleasant person to be around, and we also laughed a lot with him.
The porters and Tilak, the assistant guide, took great care of us. Discreet, but always there when we needed help.
In terms of food, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality.
In terms of accommodation, it was generally what we expected. As we wrote to you, we were disappointed at Sheeri Karka because we found ourselves in very disappointing rooms compared to others that were new and cost a little more but also had a view of the mountains.
In Lo Manthang, we enjoyed the hotel as well as in Pokhara.
We therefore appreciated your agency, your seriousness, and the advice you gave us.
We will recommend you if friends have plans in Nepal.

Not being a mountain enthusiast at first, this trip only reinforced my taste for hiking.
A downside all the same for Island Peak: I found myself alone at 4:30 in the morning, leaving the base camp. Otherwise, the cottages and the welcome were perfect.

As for the guide at 4:30 a.m., indeed, for your program, only one high mountain guide is planned for the ascent, and if one person wishes to continue and the other wants to abandon the route, unfortunately, the person who abandons the course must descend to base camp alone.
It is also important to note that from 2024, on the dates published on the internet, for each ascent, we are providing a high mountain guide for each participant. For individual departures according to request. THANKS!
