  • Legal Notice

    This site, “www.en.nepalauthentictrek.com,”  is edited by Nepal Authentic Treks & Expedition, registered with the Nepalese government under the license number 185O24O74/075, whose headquarters is located in Kapan, Kathmandu (Ward Number 10). There is no intra-community VAT. Register for hiking, trekking, climbing, expeditions, family tours, and discovery tours.

  • This agreement is between you and Nepal Authentic Treks & Expedition

    Nepal Authentic Treks & Expedition is a travel agency based in Kathmandu, Nepal, recognized by the Nepalese government. References to “www.en.nepalauthentictrek.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Nepal Authentic Teks & Expeditions. References to “customer,” “you,” and/or “your” mean all persons named on the booking (including any person added or replaced at a later date) or any of them, as applicable. These general conditions apply to any reservation you make with our advisors by telephone or email, as well as to online reservations you make on our website.

  • Object of the contract

    The Nepal Authentic Treks and Expedition Agency organizes tours for you. It undertakes to organize your trip from start to finish according to the data and descriptions appearing in the day-by-day program and in the price, which includes and does not include sections, and also to provide you with agreed-upon or similar accommodation and to provide you with all other services included in the chosen travel package.

  • Price

    Our prices displayed on the website in dollars are guaranteed (see the minimum person requirement). Concerning private trips, upon signing the registration form, the price is firm, definitive, and in dollars.

  • Price changes

    The prices appearing on the website may be subject to increases for the following reasons:

    – Increase in prices set by transport companies for domestic flights

    – VAT increase Significant increase in exchange rates

  • Booking

    – The traveler accepting the offer of Nepal Authentic Treks and Expeditions can make their online booking on the Internet site www.en.nepalauthentictrek.com by supplementing its reservation form or by confirming their reservation by email.

    The booking will be confirmed by Nepal Authentic Treks and Expeditions after payment of the deposit of 104 USD per person for the trek and any services, 208 USD for the climbing trek and 3000 USD for the +7000m expedition.

    – For the settlement of the balance of the trip at the latest 21 days before departure, it must be done by bank transfer to our bank, Himalayan Bank Limited, Tridevi Marg, Kathmandu, Nepal (Http://himalayanbank.com/). payment by bank transfer, whose coordinates are the following:

  • Booking & trip balance payment

    At Nepal Authentic Trek you have 2 methods of booking payement & 3 methods of paying your balance.

    Booking payment :

    – Bank Transfer: You can pay your booking payement by bank transfer to Nepal Authentic Trek’s account. Transfer costs are your responsibility.

    – Online Payment: You can pay  online only by visa card, master card and AMS. A supplement of 4% of bank commisson will be requested.

    Trip balance payment:

    – Bank Transfer: You can pay your travel balance by bank transfer to Nepal Authentic Trek’s account 14 days before your arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer costs are your responsibility.

    – Online Payment: You can pay  online only by visa card, master card and AMS. A supplement of 4% of bank commisson will be requested.

    – Payment in Cash: Payment of the balance can be made in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu in euros/Usd and denominations above 49 euros/UUD only.

  • Cancellation of your trekking,family & discovery tours

    – In case of a cancellation of your share more than 7 days before departure, the deposit paid will be refunded, subject to a deduction of 104 dollars from the fees folder per person.
    – In case of a cancellation of your share less than 7 days before departure, 100% of the total cost of the trip paid by the participant will be retained.

  • Cancellation of your climbing +6000m

    – In case of a cancellation of your share more than 21 days before departure, the deposit paid will be refunded, subject to a deduction of 208 dollars from the fees folder per person.

    – In case of a cancellation of your share less than 7 days before departure, 100% of the total cost of the trip paid by the participant will be retained.

  • Cancellation of your expedition

    – In case of a cancellation of your share more than 40 days before departure, the deposit paid will be refunded, subject to a deduction of 1500 dollars from the fees folder per person.

    – In case of a cancellation of your share less than 35 days before departure, 100% of the total cost of the trip paid by the participant will be retained.

  • Refund

    – The interruption of the trip by a participant for whatever reason will not give rise to any refund.
    – Nepal Authentic Trek reserves the right to modify the program, the route, the means of transportation, and accommodation in case of need without the participants being able to claim any compensation.
    – Nepal Authentic Trek is not responsible for the consequences induced by any type of alteration of program produced by the weather conditions, delay or cancellation of domestic flights, delay or failure of vehicles, political, strike, force majeure, or other reasons. The additional costs generated by this kind of alteration of the program are the responsibility of the client.

  • Unused services

    – During the stay, services not used will not give rise to any refund.

  • Claim

    – If the service we offer you is significantly different from that agreed upon when you subscribed to your trip, please inform us immediately (reachable 24 hours a day).

  • Insurance

    – The subscription to an insurance repatriation assistance in mountain and emergency research helicopters is mandatory. In the case where you do not want to take this insurance with an insurer, Nepal Authentic Trek will make you sign a discharge of responsibilities. For a reminder, an intervention of emergency relief in the mountains by helicopter rises to $5,000 minimum per hour of flight time.

  • Risks and Responsibilities

    – Nepal Authentic Trek declines all responsibility for any damage or personal injury.
    – In accordance with the legislation that governs our profession, Nepal Authentic Trek has endorsed professional civil liability insurance. However, we cannot substitute for the individual civil liability that each client must have. It is essential that you have a comprehensive warranty for relief and repatriation, medical expenses, theft of luggage, etc.
    – Each participant is aware that, given the nature of the sports activities and adventures that we organize in Nepal, there are certain risks due to the remoteness of the medical centers in case of accidents. It assumes full knowledge of the cause and undertakes not to bear the responsibility for accidents that may occur to the Agency Nepal Authentic Trek, the guides or organizers, or different service providers.
    – The transport companies used (air, land, private vehicles, and tourist buses) have their own insurance and are solely responsible for any damage in the event of an accident. Nepal Authentic Treks & Expedition is only an intermediary service provider.

  • Complaints and Complaints

    – If the service that we offer you is significantly different from the one agreed to during the confirmation, please inform your local guide or your agency immediately.

  • Litigation

    – In case of dispute, only the Court of Commerce of Kathmandu is competent.

  • Sanitary conditions

    – Customers should be aware of a certain number of risks during a trip abroad and well-versed in the sanitary requirements of the regions that they plan to visit. Customers have the responsibility to take appropriate vaccines and respond to the sanitary requirements of the regions that they are going to visit or where they will pass. No vaccine is mandatory for Nepal.

    In some regions of Nepal, the altitude is very high. Consult your doctor to make sure that your physical condition allows you to make the trip in the best conditions.

  • Traveler Safety

    – For security reasons or on the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we may have to modify a program or cancel a departure.

    – In the event of a program modification, we will reimburse any difference between the original services and those of the replacement.

    – People with reduced mobility must report their personal situation to the Nepal Authentic Trek agency.

  • Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

    – In Nepal, most tours take place at altitude. Tours with at least one or more nights at an altitude of more than 3500m are qualified as high-mountain trekking. This altitude can cause the symptoms of acute mountain sickness. The treatment to be applied is to descend as quickly as possible to a lower altitude.

    – If you are not feeling well above 2,500 m, it may be AMS until proven otherwise. Descend, Descend, Descend !

  • Travel document and visa

    – Before coming to Nepal, check that your passport is still valid; it must be valid six months after your return date. If you are traveling with your children, regardless of their age, Nepal also requires a valid passport.

  • Domestic Flight

    – For certain trips, we use airlines with the companies Yeti Airlines, Tara Airlines, Boudha Air, Simrik Air, etc. Generally, they operate small aircraft with 15 to 18 seats. Mountain flights are subject to weather conditions. It sometimes happens that your flight is canceled due to bad weather, in which case your flight will be postponed until the next day by the company. If there is no availability in this case, you will be offered transportation by helicopter if you wish. You will be asked for the difference in travel costs on site.

    – Some low-cost tickets are not refundable in the event of cancellation.

    – Only the airline is responsible for flight cancellations in the event of bankruptcy or exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, and in this case, there is no reimbursement by the agency or its partners.

    – Note: Flights are subject to availability and confirmation from the airline.

    – For your information, the European Commission has included all Nepalese companies on the blacklist of companies banned from flying within the European Union. To date, no Nepalese company has flown to Europe.

  • Accommodation

    – The accommodation indicated on the website is offered subject to availability and will be replaced by equivalent accommodation in the event of unavailability.

  • Agency management

    – For the safety of our clients, all our guides are authorized by the Nepal Authentic Treks and Expedition Agency to modify the circuit, abandon the route, or abandon the expedition without justification, and in this case, this does not give rise to any compensation.

    – For reasons that are unforeseeable at this stage, in particular the weather but also the shape or poor shape of the participants, your guide may be required to adapt or even interrupt your program at any time if he considers it necessary, whether for the whole group or for certain participants.

    – If necessary, the agency remains reachable 24 hours a day during the season and is reachable in the event of problems by telephone or email. Do not wait until the end of the stay; the agency will provide all the necessary attention. The general conditions of sale are subject to change over time.

  • image and video

    – By signing these terms and conditions of sale and registration form, you certify that your image may be used without charge by Nepal Authentic Treks & Expeditions for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, the website, articles, printed promotional materials, and promotional displays, unless you inform us in writing that you do not do so.

  • Booking terms and conditions

    – Validation of payment by a final click or transfer constitutes the definitive conclusion of the sales contract.

    – Booking made by any bank transfer, cash, or visa card for one of our trips implies acceptance of our general terms and conditions for Nepal Authentic Treks & Expedition.

  • Acceptance of the travel contract

    I, the undersigned for myself (as well as on behalf of other people registered on this trip), certify that I have read the detailed description of the trip planned on the website www.nepalauthentictrek.com, the technical sheet, and the special conditions of sale for NEPAL AUTHENTIC TREKS AND EXPEDITION, in particular the cancellation conditions of my trip. I accept them all without reservation.
